Hi friends, family, and anyone else who may come across Mads in the Mainstream. My name is Maddy, but most of my friends call me Mads. Ten seconds of insane courage (and fully trusting in the Lord) led me to start this little blog of mine. So, welcome and cheers to this new journey!

Get to know me a little bit more!

So, I am going to be completely honest with y'all, I really have no idea what I am doing. I am certainly not a writer, and I am not the trendiest gal out there (actually I usually jump on the trend bandwagon pretty late- in the fashion world this would be consider a laggard), but what I do know is that this new adventure of mine will be 100% real and transparent and will completely reflect me and my passion for fashion and the industry as a whole.

With that being said, lets get into this getting to know me a little bit more thing! I am 21, I currently live in Atlanta (well close enough to the ATL), I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design, I was a Kappa Delta (thank you KD for giving me my best gals), I have the absolute best boyfriend who is also my best friend and biggest supporter, we have the best pup, Stella girl (not only is she the best, she is also the cutest thing ever), I love working out (seriously the best stress reliever), iced coffee is definitely my love language, I love my fam so much and you can always find me hanging out with them (they fully support every dream of mine and are my biggest cheerleaders), I am a total homebody, and last but not least, my faith and trusting that the Lord has always got me is what keeps me going every day.

This season of life for me is absolutely crazy and I am trying to navigate through this thing we call life. I believe we all have multiple dreams. I have learned over the last couple of months to just fully embrace the season you are currently in and make the best of it. Each season, trial, tribulation, happy time, sad time, everything, happens for a reason and is shaping you into the person you were always meant to be. Maybe my insane ten seconds of courage is leading me to a dream I have been too scared to face head on. Who knows. What I do know is that I am excited for this new lil adventure. Like I said, I really don't know what I am doing, but I fully believe that is the beauty behind everything. If it wasn't for that short burst of insane courage I may have never even given this adventure a chance. So, for right now, I am going to enjoy where I am, fully embrace this crazy idea of mine, and fully trust that the Lord has got me.

Thank y'all for coming along on this journey with me. It may be a little messy, but I can promise I will always give my all into everything I may post. I am going to try to post about once a week and you can expect anything from outfit of the days, current favs, to shopping tips, outfit inspo, fav fashion bloggers, how to style basics, and so much more.
