Night Out in Sav: Date Night Look

This weekend Trenten and I celebrated our five year anniversary! We met back in our junior year of high school at a football game. I was that awkward, shy girl who really didnt have many friends. Thankfully, that didn't scare Trenten off too much and he somehow managed to get that shy girl to come out her shell a little bit. And, I am so thankful for that. Now, here we are five years later!

I am so thankful God crossed our paths back when we were just little, awkward 16 year olds. Now, we are almost 22 and trying to find our paths in the craziness of life. I have seen God work through Trenten in such amazing ways these last few years and I am so glad I get to do life with him. He really is my best friend and knows me better than I know myself, and I will always be thankful for him and everything he does for me (especially putting up with my sassiness and constant worrying (I know I can be a lot to handle sometimes)).

Just a couple of old pics :) We look like SUCH babies in the first one

Trenten and I are currently doing long distance, so he is in Statesboro and I am back home. I went down to Statesboro to see him and Stella girl for the weekend and we decided to celebrate our five years with a night out in Savannah. We went to this restaurant called Little Duck Diner and it was so good. After dinner we walked around Savannah for a little bit before heading back to Statesboro (classic me dragging him into stores he just doesn't want to go in).

Date night fits!

So, for the night, I went for a pretty simple yet dressy look. I wore a black romper with ruffle detailing across the waist and paired it with black wedges. This romper is one of my favorite items in my closet right now. The ruffle detailing is so girly and I love how the shorts flow and aren't super tight. These wedges are literally the best pair of wedges I own. They are sooooo comfortable and they can be dressed up or dressed down. The buckles have gold detailing on them so I wore gold accessories. I found these super cute gold hoops from Target that I am obsessed with. To finish the look, I wore my leopard print Jimmi Wz purse that I absolutely love. This purse is the perfect accessory for so many different looks and is one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Romper - fab'rik (You can find similar styles here & here!)

Shoes - Target

Purse - Jimmi Wz (You can check out their website here for all their styles!)

Earrings - Target

I absolutely love wearing darker shades and pairing the looks with gold jewelry. I feel that the darker look with gold accessories is super chic and the gold accessories can help dress the look up. I always grab a fun pair of gold earrings, a cute necklaces, and my gold bracelets when I am trying to finish the fit and bring the look together. Wearing solid colors and pairing it with a printed purse or shoe really brings a statement element to your look. This outfit was perfect for our night out in Sav. It was simple and comfortable, but dressy enough for the occasion!

Don't forget you can alwaysss take a simple look and make it chic and dressy. Like I always say, it is all about the details. The right accessories will complete any look you are going for!

Thanks for reading! I'll be back next week with another post :)
